Een wasmachine voor je ego en meer straatkunst die duiven in verwarring brengt

Tijdens het straatkunstfestival The Crystal Ship in Oostende waren dit jaar redelijk wat fotogenieke werken te zien. Zo maakte Marie Skeie een wereldkaart van dubbeltjes waar de duiven van de Belgische stad lustig doorheen scharrelden, veranderde het duo Ella & Pitr een parkeerplaats in een levensgrote reus en gaf Biancoshock zijn kritiek op de Instagram-cultuur in de vorm van The Ego Washer. Als je dit werk eenmaal gezien hebt, zal je het icoontje van het sociale netwerk voor altijd associëren met een wasmachine.

De zevende editie van The Crystal Ship stelde door de hele badplaats werk tentoon van onder andere 1010, Pixelpancho, Isaac Cordal, Fintan Magee, Roa, Cyrcle en Zio Zigler. Het festival kwam vorige week tot een eind, maar gelukkig kun je het werk nog bekijken op de instagramposts hieronder.
