And Now, Two Guys Arguing Over How Many Days There Are In A Week

This thread of two weightlifters arguing over the days of the week is everything the internet has ever been.

This, right here, is The Internet. Everything you've ever done, or said, or discussed with another person on the internet can be tidily condensed into the few screengrabs from a 2008 thread on a weightlifting board you will read below. There are seven days in the week, yes? And you are capable of counting to seven, yes? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. One, two, three, four, five, six, and seven. There is no possible way anyone could argue over this, yes? No. This is the internet; there will be a fight.

And you know what? After reading all of this, I'm not even sure who, if anyone, is right anymore. It all starts with a guy trying to figure out how much working out is too much. So he's asking for advice on how many days per week he should train.

And we are off. Now, there's a possibility we could have a polite encounter and rational discussion, but this is the Internet.

Things are escalating.

OK. Sarcastically calling someone a "genius," telling someone to grow up; now we just need some to call someone else "retarded."

There we go. Now things are getting intense and I'm forgetting how counting days of the week works myself.

This is all well and good, but can someone get into the existentialism of days for me? Like, what really is a day, anyway?

OK, OK, that was pretty good, despite the repetitive use of "retard." Now, how bout we talk about how counting is like math? Can someone hook that up?

Nice! I'm going to wrap this up  now because, for all I know this argument could still be going on and we've got lives to live here. Can someone please send us out on a high note? Maybe with a hilariously phonetic spelling of a common term we've all heard much more than we've seen spelled out?

Thanks, guys.
