Hampton University won its play in game against Manhattan—or first four, or whatever they are calling these Tuesday/Wednesday night games—and now face the unenviable task of warming up Kentucky for a run at an undefeated season. That's reason enough to pull for them, unless you're some kind of wretch who doesn't like to see the underdog win, but there is more. First, with seconds left in the game, they celebrated Brian Darden's two made free throws with a shout out to another set of underdogs in Major League with this stomp and crossing legs routine.

Then in his post-game press conference, coach Edward Joyner, Jr. tried calling Jesus. Joyner was asked about Reggie Miller's bold prediction that it would take an act of God for any team to beat Kentucky and he replied saying Hampton was all set; he had Jesus on speed dial.
