Yoenis Cespedes Goes Back to Basics, Rides into Camp on a Horse

Yoenis Cespedes's new ride has one horsepower.

Yoenis Cespedes is the only thing that matters right now in sports, and the world, really. After buying a Grand Champion hog that he will almost certainly eat, and driving more tricked out cars than Batman has wonderful toys, Cespedes arrived to work atop a horse. He was followed closely by his loyal sidekick Noah Syndergaard.

Cespedes even looked the part in a nice flannel shirt along with a cowboy hat and boots, whereas Sancho Panza over there was wearing a Mets batting helmet. I'm not sure where we go from here in the Cespedes Commuting Series, but they haven't even played a Spring Training game yet, so we've got plenty of time for more. Right now, my only hope is that the hog survived the weekend and Cespedes will set it loose and at least try to wrangle it from horseback before cooking it, like a real cowboy would.
