Vancouver Whitecaps Attempt a 24-Yard Field Goal, Are Not a Football Team

The Vancouver Whitecaps football soccer team went into their free kick against the Seattle Sounders with a few options. They likely didn't intend to go for a last-resort field goal option, but that's what striker Robert Earnshaw appeared to do. Going for the three points wasn't an entirely terrible idea, seeing as how Seattle was up 3-0.
