According to CBS New York, New York Giants fullback Nikita Whitlock's home in Moonachie, New Jersey, was broken into and vandalized with various hate messages, including a swastika, "KKK," and "Trump," scrawled across the walls. He's lived in the apartment for only six months, with his wife and two young children, and it's the second time he's dealt with a break-in. The first happened over Thanksgiving and some packages were stolen. This time, the burglars broke in through a window and stole some jewelry, video game consoles, and according to Whitlock's wife, Ashley, the family's sense of security.

Whitlock, who's been on injured reserve all season, said the swastika was the first thing he saw when they walked in, after having been gone for just a few hours. He then went on to find "KKK" written across the wall in his basement apartment, as well as "Go back to Africa" and what looks to be "Nigger Lover." All the writing was covered with sheets, to protect their children from seeing it.

CBS asked if he had a message for the vandals, and Whitlock said:

"Stop, just stop it. I mean it's about to be 2017; oppression, racism, hatred, violence—there's no need for that."
