FOX Affiliate in St. Louis Roasts the Rams Following Jeff Fisher's Firing

FOX 2 referred to Rams COO Kevin Demoff as a "professional liar."

Move over, Cardinals—the Rams just might be the most popular sports franchise in St. Louis at the moment (sorry, Blues). The fact that the NFL franchise no longer operates in the city has been temporarily mitigated by the sheer delight of watching them humiliate themselves from their new base in Los Angeles, seemingly on a daily basis.

As you can imagine, the St. Louis TV stations had a field day with the news that the Rams had fired head coach Jeff Fisher mere days after it was revealed that they were planning to give him an extension. But nobody roasted the Rams quite as hard as FOX 2, who started their report with a "We're not going bleeping 7-9" joke at the expense of the magnificently mediocre Fisher before turning their sights on Rams chief operating officer Kevin Demoff, whom they referred to as "Rams Chief Operating Officer/Professional Liar" on their chyron.

Oh, and they managed to slip in the fact that Demoff's father just so happens to be Fisher's agent.

This isn't the first time this season—the Rams' first since leaving St. Louis—that a St. Louis FOX affiliate has benefited from the organization's gross incompetence. They've been doing quite well in the ratings department by broadcasting Rams blowout losses.
