Osa Masina, one of two USC football players being investigated for rape, has been charged with three felonies—one count of first degree rape and two counts of forcible sodomy—in Utah. Masina, along with teammate Don Hill, is also being investigated in Los Angeles for rape allegations from the same woman.

Masina was accused of raping a 19-year-old woman in Los Angeles on July 14th, following an all-day party during which he periodically gave her Xanax. After the party, the woman was taken to Hill's apartment and the search warrant states that "the next thing she recalls is having sex with" Masina, and further recalled Masina holding her head and forcing his penis in her mouth, while Hill raped her vaginally. These allegations are still being investigated and charges could still be forthcoming

Masina's felony charges arise out of a July 26th incident in Utah when he was partying with the same woman and she again passed out, and again woke up to Masina raping her. This time he was forcing oral and anal sex. TMZ has seen the charging instrument from the Cottonwood Heights police department and they provide more detail:

According to the charging documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman claims Masina passed out again … and woke up to Masina "thrusting his erect penis into her mouth."

The woman claims the forced oral sex was so violent, he damaged porcelain crowns on her back teeth.

The woman says she woke up the next morning in pain and went to police, and a rape kit was administered.

Masina now has a warrant out for his arrest, and bail has already been set at $250,000.

Greg Skordas, Masina's attorney confirmed the charges to ESPN, but has not seen the documents.

"They're what we call here in Utah first-degree felonies so they carry a term of potential imprisonment of five years to life," Skordas said. "Obviously, without looking at the police reports or the supporting documents I can't say much more than that."

Skordas says Masina—who was ordered to leave USC campus earlier this week—plans to turn himself in to Salt Lake Metro County Jail later today.
