Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's Friday the 30th of November, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still, technically, president of FIFA.

Jonah Lomu's funeral took place in Eden Park stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. Lomu was a legendary rugby player and national hero in New Zealand. He suffered from kidney problems for years and died earlier this month at the age of 40. Here's video of the Haka at his funeral:

In a weekend referendum, residents of Hamburg, Germany voted against hosting the Olympics by a 51.6 percent margin. It's the latest blow to the Olympic Movement. Global enthusiasm for hosting the games seems at an all-time low.

According to Russian sports minister Vitaly Mutko, Russian soccer clubs will not be permitted to bring in any Turkish players during the January transfer period. Andy Murray lead team Great Britain to the Davis Cup, beating Belgium in the finals. Murray to the BBC: "I can't believe we did it."

Nico Rosberg brought the Formula 1 season to a close by winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Jamie Vardy scored a record-breaking 12th goal in 12 straight matches over the weekend. The goal came against Manchester United. The previous record holder, who scored 11 in 11, was former United player Ruud van Nistelrooy.

An interesting side story to Vardy's incredible sporting achievement is the heat some journalists are receiving for reminding the public of a racist outburst Vardy made last summer.
