NBA's Top Ten Video Guy Has Gradually Been Saying "Top Ten" Faster and Faster

It's a mystery. A dumb, pointless, and fun mystery.

If you spend enough time on the internet, you begin to find yourself asking questions like "why am I even here?" or "is the internet a wasteland of the dumbest people from your high school that have defied the odds and somehow managed to get even dumber?" Then something like this post on Reddit comes along and reminds you that the internet is our greatest contribution to the world and actually quite delightful.

A Redditor on r/NBA going by JacoIII noticed something weird about the guy who does NBA.com's Top Ten highlights. Over the years, he has incrementally started saying "Top Ten" faster and faster to the point where he presently sounds like a duck, or Neil Everett saying "SportsCenter….RIGHTNOW!"

JacoIII went back five years to highlight the transition—back in 2011 the guy said "Top Ten" like a normal person—and provided video evidence of the change over time.

Make no mistake, this is so dumb, and so pointless, but it's also funny and great in its pointless stupidity. It is perfect Internetting.
