Wife of Bills Kicker Dan Carpenter Threatens to Castrate Richard Sherman in Twitter Rant

After Richard Sherman plowed into Buffalo kicker Dan Carpenter on Monday night, Kaela Carpenter went on a Twitter rant. Which was probably not a good idea.

I know what we do on the farm when a male can't control his own rage. #LuckyImNotThere #Sherman #ActLikeAnAnimalGetTreatedLike1 pic.twitter.com/tgSlzIjWoS

Monday night's clash between the Buffalo Bills and the Seattle Seahawks was the NFL at its madcap best, particularly at the end of the first half. The Bills were set up for a field-goal attempt when All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman rushed offsides and plowed into Buffalo kicker Dan Carpenter. Did Sherman hear the whistle? Was it a dirty play? Was Carpenter embellishing the contact to draw a "roughing the kicker" penalty? Everyone has an opinion. Regardless, it was entertaining as hell.

And then Carpenter's wife, Kaela, had to go and take all the fun out of the moment with a single Tweet.

For those of you who aren't in the castrating biz, the tool she posted is called a bander. It is used for, well, castrating.

We get it, Kaela. You're angry. And Richard Sherman doesn't exactly have the most sterling reputation in the league when it comes to fair play. But calling someone an animal is not cool. And a white person calling a black person an animal calls to mind a painful tradition in America. Also, castration has long been a favored tool of white American lynch mobs.

As of Tuesday morning, the tweet was amazingly not yet deleted, and Sherman himself was able to respond—it was classy as hell.

So please, Mrs. Carpenter, put the bander away.
