Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 17th of November, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still, technically, president of FIFA.

The full consequences of Friday's deadly Paris attacks are still being realized. PSG player Javier Pastore lost two friends in the attacks. France's Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 may postpone two match days to mourn the victims and review security measures (there isn't much wiggle room in the league's schedule this year, with the Euros set to begin only a few weeks after season's end). Also, the Belgian FA cancelled the friendly between the world's top-ranked team and Spain due to a heightened threat level in Belgium. The match was scheduled for today. Euro 2016 will do a full review and revision of its security protocols in the months leading up to the tournament this summer. Finally, England and France play a friendly today at Wembley, which will feature the full French squad and promises to be a somber affair.

In happier European soccer news, the Republic of Ireland qualified for the Euros yesterday with a convincing 2-0 win against Boznia and Herzegovina at Aviva Stadium in Dublin. This makes Scotland the only national team from the British Isles not to qualify. Poor Scotland. The final two slots—Slovenia vs. Ukraine and Denmark vs. Sweden—will be claimed today.

Belarussian Olympic athlete Yulia Balykina was found dead in a forest near Minsk yesterday after she had been missing for a few weeks. According to MARCA, she is the 16th Olympic athlete from London 2012 to die since the games from various causes.

In the NFL, the formerly-undefeated Cincinnati Bengals lost at home 10-6 in a putrid affair to the Houston Texans and their third-string quarterback, T.J. Yates. How embarrassing for them.
