One of the singers in a Canadian group called The Tenors went rogue during the performance of "O Canada" last night at the All-Star Game and added the "Why don't we have a white history month?" of slogans to the lyrics of the Canadian national anthem.Holding up a sign that read "All Lives Matter," Remigio Pereira sang, "We're all brothers and sisters—all lives matter to the brave." (The actual lyrics are "With glowing hearts we see thee rise, the True North strong and free.") His fellow Tenors were not at all pleased with him. You can actually see the Tenor next to him look over at him in surprise as soon as he starts singing the new words. After the performance, the group released a statement on Twitter excoriating Pereira and apologizing for the "shameful act" of a "lone wolf." They also announced he would not be performing with the group "until further notice."
