French police conducted a controlled explosion to blow off the door of a car that was illegally parked outside the Stade de France in Paris today, Associated Press reports. The stadium, one target of ISIS's terrorist attacks on Paris last November, was set to host France's game against Iceland with expected crowds of 81,000. However, the game is not anticipated to be delayed due to the security scare.

Security were alerted to the suspicious car and detonated their controlled explosion three and a half hours before kickoff. The Mirror reported that the streets around the stadium were closed due to heightened security, and that a police spokesperson said there was "nothing to worry about." The Daily Mail reported that a police spokesman added, "These checks happen regularly in Paris. They did not blow up the entire car."

Heads of state from France and Iceland are expected to be on hand for the evening, with French president Francois Hollande making regular appearances at games throughout the Euros.
