Chris Paul Has Nothing but Contempt for Andre Roberson's Shot

During a preseason game between the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder, CP3 dared Roberson to shoot and mocked him when he shot an airball.

It's only just the NBA preseason, but the shit talk is already primo. The Houston Rockets, newly furnished with Chris Paul, took their new superteam for a test run against OKC last night, and things went according to plan.

Chris Paul happily played point to James Harden's shooting guard, and the combo looked lethal. Harden was also dishing back to Paul—this one hand washing the other makes for a clean-ass game. When all was said and done, the Rockets won 104-97, on the strength of 24 three-pointers—Twenty-four!

Sure, that's fun and all: basketballs going in the hoops. But we came here for the real stuff. Just listen to the trash Paul littered out on the court:

Ahh, yes. Straight to my veins.

Chris Paul was clearly supposed to pick up André Roberson here, but seeing as how Roberson went 3-for-21 from FT during the playoffs last year, Paul knew he was pretty safe. All Paul does is give a little wave to wish that ball on a safe journey several inches outside of the hoop, and then say what was already on everybody's mind: "Hell no!"

Sure, it would have been colder if he said it before the shot went poorly. But it's pretty cold nonetheless. Can't wait for the season to start back up again. Just imagine the mid-season shit talking form if this is what we're getting in preseason.
