Dez Bryant Buys Pet Monkey, Names it Dallas

It's kind of like a foot-healing service animal, right?

Well, well, well. We've got ourselves a fresh batch of adorable on our hands here.

Injured Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has a bit of time to kill, and so he decided to keep himself company. After breaking his foot in Week 1 of the season, Bryant has been recovering and it seems that he got himself a Capuchin monkey—valued at $5,000 - $7,000. And, obviously, he decided to name the critter "Dallas."

NFL stars like Chad Johnson (formerly Ochocinco) have been known to have had the likes of bengal tigers and lemurs for pets, but here's to hoping this Capuchin doesn't distract Bryant from a speedy recovery. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, for what it's worth doesn't seem to give a care about the whole ordeal, so long as Bryant's foot heels on schedule.
