Ex-UFC heavyweight fighter Tim Hague died today after sustaining injuries during a boxing match on Friday, according to the Canada's Globe and Mail. He had been in critical condition for the past two days, and passed away in the presence of his family, according to a FaceBook post by his sister Jackie Neil.On Friday, Hague, 33, was competing against former Canadian Football League defensive end Adam Braidwood in a KO Boxing-sponsored event when he was dealt a KO that would eventually take his life. Hague grew up in Alberta, and was originally trained in jiu-jitsu and made his MMA debut in 2006. He carried a 21-13 MMA record until 2016, when he switched to boxing."It is with incredible sadness, sorrow and heartbreak to report that Tim has passed away today," Neil wrote. "He was surrounded by family, listening to his favourite songs. We will miss him with so greatly."
