Steve Kerr Arrives at Oracle Arena as an Observer

It's good to see the man back in (at least a little bit of) action.

Steve Kerr hasn't functioned as Warriors head coach since April 16th after suffering a recent flare up of severe pains related to a failed spinal surgery in 2015. But today—a week after having corrective surgery on his back at Duke—the man made an appearance at the Warriors' home Oracle Arena in Oakland. Kerr, however, will be watching from the locker room, according to reports.

ESPN's Arash Markazi was on hand to film Kerr's entrance into Oracle, and captured what was a really sweet moment with a security guard, who was clearly happy to see him back.

Kerr typically tends to show up in a full suit when ready to coach, and dresses down to watch the game as an observer. (The above photo is from April 24, when Kerr watched Game 4 against the Trail Blazers from the stands.) Today, he's rocking something that's maybe a bit easier to eat a hot dog in.

It's just so nice to see this kind man back in better form. If you read this, Steve, get well soon. And I've got a lot of good TV shows to recommend for you while you heal up, bruh.
