DeMarcus Cousins Wears Panties on Head During Mardi Gras Parade Like True New Orleanian

Boogie and Anthony Davis seem to be enjoying themselves.

It's safe to say that @boogiecousins is having no problems adjusting to New Orleans. He's currently riding in Zulu with panties on his head. pic.twitter.com/F9TZC0DjwP

DeMarcus Cousins brought Sacramento to tears with his heartfelt speech expressing his love of Kings fans and the city following his shocking trade to the Pelicans earlier this month. But the big man is also looking ahead, and expressing his love for his new home in authentic New Orleans fashion, by riding on a parade float with a pair of panties on his head. The newest Pelican joined teammate (and parade hype man) Anthony Davis on the float. The two All-Stars were named honorary grand marshals.

The Zulu is one of several Mardi Gras parades put on by various krewes throughout New Orleans, run by the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club.

Cousins is averaging a career-high 4.8 assists per game this season, so the Mardi Gras crowd better be ready for the beads being dished out by the always generous Boogie.
