Two runners who weren't chosen for the New York City Marathon are suing the event's organizers, claiming that the lottery used to select runners is illegal, according to Reuters. And they're totally not salty at all.

Charles Konopa and Matthew Clark have decided to file the suit, claiming that New York Road Runners, the nonprofit in charge of the lottery, has violated New York's constitution by operating a chance-based lottery that is not endorsed by the state. According to the gaming commission, only state-based entities are allowed to run lotteries in New York.

The plaintiffs are suing for $10.56 million in damages, which according to Reuters is roughly twice the amount of money collected from the lottery between 2010 and 2015. It costs $11 to enter the lottery. Nope, totally not salty at all.
