Arguably the most polarizing player in tennis is out of Wimbeldon early, as 20th-seeded Nick Kyrgios retired in his first-round match after re-aggravating a hip injury.The 22-year-old originally injured the hip two weeks ago at the Queen's Club Championships but declared he'd be ready to play Wimbledon. That proved to be optimistic, as Kyrgios told The Guardian prior to today's match against Pierre Hugues-Herbert that he was only 65 percent healthy going in. It showed, too, as the 70th-ranked Hugues-Herbert won the first two sets 6-3, 6-4 before Kyrgios retired in the third. Kyrgios acknowledged post-match that he "kind of knew [he] was in trouble" as soon as the match began."I was doing everything I could to help it," he said in his press conference, "but obviously there's not enough time."
