Bastian Schweinsteiger Made a Meal of his MLS Debut

Schweinsteiger sent out a clear warning: an uncaged Schweinsteiger is a threat enough.

Bastian Schweinsteiger put on his big boy boots today for his MLS debut with the Chicago Fire and showed the boys in the EPL a thing or two about how 32 isn't too old for the sport.

Schweinsteiger's former coach at Manchester United Jose Mourinho recently came out to apologize for his mistreatment of Schweinsteiger, who Mourinho left out of first team training during a rocky season. Well, Mourinho might be feeling a bit more sorry, as Schweinsteiger did not disappoint with his new freedom today.

The German national started out his day early with a 17th minute dagger of a header into the Montreal Impact's net—classic Schweinsteiger. But then he strung together a nifty series of plays that straight-up embarrassed the Impact's defense:
