Jaguars Draft Pick Dede Westbrook Was Allegedly Kicked Out of a Combine Interview, Called a "Degenerate" by Scout

The Jacksonville Jaguars picked up Westbrook today in the No. 110 overall pick in the fourth round today.

So @McShay13 just said new Jags WR Dede Westbrook is the only player he's ever heard of being kicked out of a 15-minute combine interview.

Former Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Dede Westbrook reportedly rubbed NFL teams the wrong way in his transition to the pros. MMBQ journalist Albert Breer is reporting that not only did he hear (from analyst Todd McShay) that Westbrook was kicked out of a Scouting Combine interview after 15 minutes in Indianapolis back in late February/early March, but that Westbrook upset one anonymous AFC scout so much that she/he called Westbrook a "degenerate."

Westbrook's chances with NFL teams were already hurt by a rash of criminal allegations—a pattern not unfamiliar to the NFL Draft. In 2012, Westbrook was accused of throwing the mother of his two children to the ground, and the next year was accused of biting her and punching her in the face. Later, one set of charges were thrown out, and the other case was dismissed due to lack of cooperation from the victim. Nevertheless, the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up Westbrook today in the No. 110 overall pick in the fourth round.
