Yesterday, WADA released findings from its report on state-sponsored doping in Russia, which essentially confirmed that it existed. The entire Russian Olympic team might get barred from the Rio Olympics. The Russians are not happy.

2013 world champion badminton player Ratchanok Intanon, on the other hand, has been cleared of doping charges. Looks like she'll take part in Rio.

Chris Correa, the former St. Louis Cardinals scout who hacked the Houston Astros' database a few years ago is going to jail for 46 months.

UEFA released its picks for top ten Champions League goals from last season.

A number of media outlets in the UK and Italy are reporting Manchester United has made a world record-breaking £100 million ($131 million) bid for Juventus's Paul Pogba, whom Manchester United let move to Juventus for free in 2012. (My one sentence take: Pogba is not nearly as complete a player as he is made out to be and will be good but not great for Manchester United.)
