Barnsley's Adam Armstrong Absolutely Disgraces Defender Before Scoring a Stunner

You might want to think about upgrading your relationship status with Armstrong from "Newcastle loanee" at this point, Barnsley.

OK, so today has been a pretty solid day for the good goals. You know, the not-bad ones? Take Zlatan's tae kwan do goal, or Higuaín's beautiful volley, and, shit, even the assists were nice—like Payet's. But this goal from Adam Armstrong, on loan from Newcastle to the recently-promoted Championship side Barnsley, might take the cake.

In a solo effort after receiving a long ball from deep, Armstrong found himself in a footrace with his defender. The Preston defender did well to body Armstrong away from the ball, but he couldn't stop the Barnsely striker's ingenuity, as he reached back an outstretched leg to tap the ball around his man. A sublimely cheeky move that would have been worthy of a highlight by itself, but factor in the beautiful, curling shot around the keeper? Wowwowweewow. You might want to think about upgrading your relationship status with Armstrong from "loanee" at this point, Barnsley.
