Lopez's cat Poupin went from LAX all the way to his mom's house in Fresno, California. It's a bougie-ass cat.

Fires are ravaging the Los Angeles hillsides, and people are doing what they can to ensure their own safety. So when Brook Lopez's neighborhood was evacuated, he didn't have many other places for his cat Poupin—meaning "chubby" in French, and sadly pronounced more like "Poupon" as in "Grey Poupon" than "poopin'"—to go, besides his mom's house. So he sent his cat on a four-hour trip with a chauffeur.

The Lakers played in Philly last night so Lopez had to catch a flight during the evacuation. But what to do with his cat? Simple, have his driver just take Poupin to Fresno, California right afterward.

And the ride probably cost a lot:

I bet Poupin rolled up the partition. Poupin don't take no guff from the riff raff.
