Drake Picked a Fight with Kendrick Perkins for Some Reason

Drake, Drake, Drake. You like sitting next to basketball games, but you aren't in them—get over it. The thirstiest sports fan who is also a rapper happens to have courtside seats for his hometown Raptors, and so he was right there front and center for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between Toronto and the Cleveland Cavaliers. It seems he was in the mood to stir some shit last night, but of all the people he could have chosen to start beef with, he chose… Kendrick Perkins?

The Cavs reserve player was apparently talking a bit of shit of his own to former teammate Serge Ibaka during halftime, saying that the Cavs had the game in the bag, when Drake picked up on the message and thought—for some absurd reason—let's get into it with a human tank:

Perkins's prophecy certainly came true, as the Cavs forced overtime, took their first lead of the game in that extra period, and snuck away with a 113-112 win. So it's understandable that Drake was so salty but still, pick your battles, man. You're going to get pounded here. If, however, he decides to pursue this beef, both men will be back in Toronto on Thursday for Game 2, so we could see some more fireworks.

Drake apparently wanted to clarify what the exchange was about on Instagram:

"I just said I liked the hem on his capris," is such a stone cold diss. Maybe Drake should keep talking shit if that's the gold he's turning up.
