Joel Embiid Had a Monster Night, Takes Time to Diss Lonzo Ball on Twitter

Dunking on the Ball family in more ways than one.

Joel Embiid played absolutely out of his mind last night. The 7-foot 76ers center racked up 46 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, and 7 blocks, rattling our eyeballs across his stat line with a near-quadruple double. And you could even say he deserved two more points after the final score—for dunking righteously on Lonzo Ball on Twitter.

First, the highlights. Because wow:

You don't often see a center dominating this hard in the three-point centric version of the game we see nowadays. But Embiid also went 2-for-3 from deep, just to let you know he's relevant in any era.

And then came the shade:

For those of y'all who aren't caught up, Embiid and Lonzo's father LaVar Ball have a beef that's been played out with some subtle and not-so-subtle jabs taken across social media that even resulted in Embiid being fined $10,000. Needless to say, Embiid has every reason to dunk on LaVar Ball's son—just like how he asked Ben Simmons to do in a subtweet way back when. (Simmons, yes, dunked on Lonzo last night.)

So Embiid tweeted out the glorious above photo of a sprawling Lonzo choking on his knees as he puts in a layup. Lonzo, on the other hand, scored two points in 21 minutes last night. Yikes, rough night.

But then, upon reconsidering, Embiid felt the weight of a fine barreling down on him, so he tweeted out a half-assed retraction of what was a clear sentiment.

I'll take all of what Embiid's got—on and off the court.
