Good morning, America. It's January 22nd, 2016. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop every morning for more headlines from around the world.

Not a lot happening today, but here's what we got:

Barcelona and Argentina midfielder/defender Javier Mascherano was convicted of tax fraud in Spain.

U.S. National team player Jordan Morris chose to play for the Seattle Sounders instead of Werder Bremen. A good decision? Who knows?!

Earlier this week, BuzzFeed released an investigation into match-fixing in tennis that was, in part, based on a statistical analysis of betting data. The report heavily implied that the matches flagged in their analysis were fixed, but it looks like at least some of them were not. How many? We don't know.

Where will Pep Guardiola manage next year? We still don't know, but maybe Manchester United.

Yesterday I said Alexandre Pato was a Chelsea player. Maybe that isn't true yet? A bunch of sources say different things.

Down under, the Australian Open rolls on. So does Roger Federer, who beat Grigor Dimitrov today in four sets.

More heartbreak for poor Mascherano. Remember this?
