Former Liverpool and Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez has taken over as manager at Newcastle. He signed a three-year deal. Newcastle is currently second to last in the Premier League with 24 points.

Yesterday, I was all excited about two games in the Europa League: Dortmund vs. Tottenham and Liverpool vs. Manchester United. Well, Dortmund put a whooping on Tottenham, winning the first leg 3-0 at home. Liverpool also won, 2-0.
