Tennessee Titans Player Pounds Beer Out of Giant Catfish at Predators Game

You know it's playoff time when Titans players are demolishing beers at Nashville's home games.

A year after first making their mark during Nashville's run to the Stanley Cup Final last spring, everyone's favourite catfish-swinging, bird-flipping, beer-chugging Tennessee Titans linemen were back at Bridgestone Arena to belligerently cheer on the Predators in Game 2 versus the Winnipeg Jets.

Oh, and Marcus Mariota, in full disappointed-dad mode, was there, too—looking quite concerned for the safety of his teammates who were just demolishing beers off the back of a dead fish.

Offensive tackle Taylor Lewan, in particular, was living his best life on Sunday night. After chugging a beer off the back off a monstrosity of a catfish with the help of his boys, Lewan proceeded to lift the giant carcass over his shoulder before opening a tallboy of Bud Light with his teeth and dusting that off. He capped off his brilliant performance by flipping the middle finger to the Jets bench while being shown on the videoboard.

A masterful display of partying prowess from the 6-foot-7, 310-pound lineman, who made his devious intentions well known earlier in the day.

The show put on by the 26-year-old and Co. during Nashville's 5-4 win built off the momentum the Titans' boys put forth last season during the Preds' march to the Cup. Lewan, Mariota, and the crew were regulars during the team's deepest franchise playoff run, making regular, shirtless, fish-swinging appearances at various home postseason games and getting obliterated on national television while shotgunning beers to fire up the crowd on the big screen.

No word yet on whether the boys were actually still awake and functioning by the time Kevin Fiala buried the double-OT winner to even the series at 1-1.
