TV Azteca Uses Donald Trump to Sell USA-Mexico Match

TV Azteca spliced a speech where Donald Trump bemoans the death of the American dream with highlights of Mexico triumphing over USMNT. It's wonderful.

This is delightful. On October 10th, the United States Men's National Team will play Mexico in a special playoff for a spot in the 2017 Confederations Cup at the Rose Bowl. Since Mexico won the most recent Gold Cup, and USMNT the one previous, a one-game playoff is needed to determine who will represent CONCACAF in Russia for the Confederations Cup. It's USA-Mexico, so it's already a big deal, throw in a spot in the dress rehearsal for the 2018 World Cup and it's a big deal with some drama. Donald Trump hating Mexico is just icing on the cake.

So, thanks to our loud and embarrassing national mascot, TV Azteca has chopped up some speeches by Friend of Mexico and created a wonderful little advertisement for the game. Trump talks about the lack of American victories, and how the American Dream "is dead," all while victorious Mexican National team highlights and sad-ass USMNT clips play.
