Former NFL player and "American Ninja Warrior" host Akbar Gbaja-Biamila threw out the first pitch at a Phillies game. It did not go well.

No doubt it takes a shitload of skill to go from rung to rung on the jumping bars in American Ninja Warrior. Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, a former Oakland Raiders defensive end, normally hosts American Ninja Warrior, but will actually be competing on the show for the first time on May 24th. If he's hoping to make it past the shallow pools, though, he better up his coordination game. Because he really cannot throw a baseball.

Gbaja-Biamila was invited to throw the first pitch at the Philadelphia Phillies' game against the San Francisco Giants, and lord, did he blow it:

Hard to decipher what part is more hilarious—the Phanatic's "expression" is key—but you can't argue with him hitting the photographer. The weirdo pause and stick-the-leg-straight-out move in his windup is also curious. What this all means is that Gbaja-Biamila has certainly joined illustrious company in the discussion of absolutely shitty first pitches, including the aforementioned 50 Cent's first pitch for the Mets back in 2014, Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'abate (also at a Mets game), and whatever happened here.

Kinda was!
