Well this was certainly impressive. Josh Adams, a true freshman running back with Notre Dame, just blazed up the sideline, scoring what is the longest running play ever scored in Notre Dame Stadium history at 98 yards. It was a delectable little run that even witnessed a nasty stiff-arm.Now, it's important to contextualize here: No. 4 Notre Dame is playing a 3-6 Wake Forest, and everyone was expecting a beating. But with a 21-0 lead at the end of the first half, it seems like there's not much of a prayer for the tiny North Carolina school. Sure, there wasn't much coverage on Adams' run—but nevertheless, it wasn't a bad run for someone who just left high school. Not at all.
