Biblical Flood Causes MiLB Rain Delay, Players Handle it Well

The Louisville Bats and the Indianapolis Indians looked upon all they had made, and said it was good.

"And they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away" - The Book of Matthew. And after the flood, they understood alright. Understood how to have themselves a good time.

Such was the way of MiLB teams the Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds affiliate) and the Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate) after an absolutely Biblical downpour hit Indianapolis (2.4 inches, to be precise), causing rain postponement and some deep dugout flooding.

Both teams joined in on some water games with a stash of bewilderingly-sourced aquatic gear. I mean, who's keeping that stuff around anyway? Leftovers from _____ Night maybe?

Here's a look at the shenanigans from the perspective of the away team's Kevin Shakelford and Matt Magill:

The boys should feel lucky if they don't contract Dysentery. But all-in-all, the Louisville Bats and the Indianapolis Indians looked upon all they had made, and said it was good.
