Adrian Wojnarowski has a few WojBombs left in him before he heads to ESPN next week and the latest is a doozy: Chris Paul is headed to Houston to play alongside James Harden. Last Friday, both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin informed the Clippers that they would be opting out of their contracts to enter free agency. Soon thereafter, rumors began swirling that Paul was considering a move to Houston, who had been trying to dump players like Patrick Beverly and Lou Williams in order to land a star like Paul, or Kyle Lowry. Turns out, they went straight to the source:

Instead of opting out, Paul opted into the final year of his contract at $24.2 million and in return, Houston sent Los Angeles Beverly, Williams, Sam Dekker, and a 2018 first round pick. It's a pretty good deal for both teams, as Houston clears the space it needed to get Paul and Los Angeles gets four not-terrible pieces back when they were going to get nothing.

Both teams will still have questions going forward, though. Do the Clippers pay Blake Griffin and build around him, or does he bolt for a team that's ready to win now? Can the Rockets succeed with two guys who work best with the ball in their hands, or will they become some new freak team with two lineups with dynamic creators wreaking havoc? According to Woj, Paul and Harden have discussed this and think they can work it out.

At the very least, here we have an offseason move that adds a little unpredictability to the NBA regular season.
