New York Jets rookie linebacker Dylan Donahue caused an accident in the Lincoln Tunnel early this morning when he drove the wrong way and crashed into oncoming traffic. Donahue crashed head-on with a bus carrying 15 people, four of whom were injured in the accident.

Donahue entered the tunnel on the New Jersey side, where a port authority officer saw him driving erratically.

A PA cop witnessed Donahue, who was the Jets’ fifth-round pick in the 2017 draft, driving his green Dodge Charger Hellcat around traffic cones into the center tube and against westbound traffic.

The driver- and passenger-side airbags deployed when Donahue allegedly collided with the bus, leaving the front of his Dodge completely smashed in.

Donahue reportedly failed both a field sobriety test as well as a breathalyzer exam, registering a .15 BAC. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. The injured bus passengers were taken to Hoboken University Medical Center, where they were treated for minor injuries.

In an interview last summer with the New York Post, Donahue said "everyone calls me 'Wild Man…I just do crazy things. Sacrifice-my-body type stuff."

The Jets, who have been racking up reckless driving arrests in recent offseasons, have not commented on the matter.
