Gronk recognize Gronk.Recently, one animal found out that another animal was named after him, and so Animal One went ahead and decided to invest some money into Animal Two. Of course, we're talking about Rob Gronkowski and a horse. What?OK, let's back it up a bit. Last month, a horse by the name of "Gronkowski" qualified for the Kentucky Derby, and it caught the attention the Kentucky Derby-enthusiastic Gronk. Now, according to the Wall Street Journal, Rob Gronkowski has acquired a stake in Gronkowski the horse.Everything is set to be ironed out Thursday when the global horse racing investment fund Phoenix Thoroughbreds will announce the deal. It's not clear how much Gronk invested in Gronkowski, a 3-year-old colt that was purchased for $404,492.Gronkowski was named after the New England Patriots tight end because the horse's manager is a Pats fan, per Racing Post:

According to WSJ, which spoke with Gronk via phone, Gronk wants to meet Gronkowski and will arrive near Churchill Downs to meet the horse several days before the May 5th derby."I've never dealt with horses," said the 265-pound star. "Hopefully I can get a ride on the horse."Poor horse."I love the New England Patriots and as Rob Gronkowski is six-five and about the same wide I thought it would be an appropriate name for the horse as he's built much the same."
