Sounds Like Steph Curry Still Doesn't Want to Go to the White House

He was asked the hypothetical a couple months ago and said he wouldn't then. He was asked again today and said he feels the same way.

Well it sure sounds like many of the Golden State Warriors are seriously considering passing on the traditional championship team visit to White House. Hours after beating the Cavaliers on Monday, news quickly spread that the Warriors had unanimously voted to skip out on the trip. But the team later said they hadn't made a decision, and that they would "make those decisions when and if necessary."

I can't remember a time when a team ever said We'll cross that bridge when we get to it about a trip to the White House, so it's looking more and more like the team very well may skip it. When asked about the trip today during a media availability session a day prior to the team championship parade, Steph Curry said that this was posed to him as a hypothetical a couple months ago and recalled saying "I wouldn't go." As for now? "I still feel like that today."

Andre Iguodala, on the other hand, is opting for a glass-half-full kind of vibe. After initially saying, "Hell nah" to the idea of a visit to see President Trump, Iggy allowed for a possible change in circumstance that would get him to show up:

"I think we handle (the White House situation) when it gets there. I mean, it may be different. There might be somebody different in (office). That's a realistic thing to say though, right? So you don't know what's going to happen."

From your lips to the U.S. Senate floor, Andre.
