NYC Bombing Suspect Allegedly an ISIS Sympathizer
The 27-year man suspected of setting off a pipe bomb in a Manhattan subway corridor Monday said he acted at least in part to avenge US strikes on ISIS in Syria, according to anonymous law enforcement officials. Akayed Ullah, who was being treated for serious burn injuries, also told law enforcement he picked the passageway near Times Square because of the Christmas posters in the area.
