Last night featured more Champions League fun. Nothing too out of the ordinary happened, except for Arsenal losing 1-2 to Dinamo Zagreb, which is amazing. Also, Roma tied Barcelona thanks to the most improbable goal.

Bayern Munich beat Olympiakos 3-0. The team paid a price, however. There was some kind of disturbance in the stands, and police attacked a number of Bayern supporters. It's unclear why.

Italy lost to Lithuania in the European basketball championship. The semifinals now look like this: Spain v. France; Serbia v. Lithuania. Whoever wins in the first semifinal is obviously favorite for the tournament.

One of soccer's most iconic soccer fans, Clovis Acosta Fernandes, AKA the Gaucho da Copa, has died. He was 60 years old.

Football clubs across Europe have pledged money in support of refugees in Europe. Tennis star Andy Murray has announced he'll donate 50 pounds per ace to the cause, when his British team take on Australia in the Davis Cup.

Speaking of Tennis, the Wall Street Journal has a cool interactive on what it's like to be a line judge.

Another women's soccer star is retiring in her prime. Germany's Kim Kulig is hanging up her boots, citing repeated knee injury as her reason. She's just 25. (Link in German)
