There has been some recent scuttlebutt concerning the identity of the Brewers cute little dog, Hank. Two years ago a mangy dog walked into Brewers training camp and was quickly adored by the internet. The team later adopted him and named him Hank and he's been a sort of mascot ever since. Since then, there's been some concern that Hank was not really Hank. Over the years, his appearance changed and a few days ago, Brew Crew Ball, a Brewers site on SB Nation, made the case that Hank actually died some time in 2014, and had been replaced by an imposter Hank.

Today the Brewers put that notion to bed with a press conference where they presented a notarized statement from a veterinarian who scanned the microchip in the current Hank, confirming he was the same Hank.
