Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports worldwide news roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 10th of July, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA. He took to FIFA's weekly magazine to defend himself (again). The man is not responsible for the mess at FIFA, okay? Here's the best bit: "The popular outrage concerning FIFA in recent weeks has mainly been directed at me personally. I have no problem with this. I can defend myself. However, I would appeal for fairness: I bear no responsibility for members of a government (the FIFA Executive Committee) I have not myself elected. The FIFA President must work with the people allotted him by the confederations. I therefore also bear no responsibility whatsoever for the behaviour of these ExCo members on their home turf. We cannot change people's morals, but we can better control human behaviour. This is where I will invest my energy."

Former FIFA Vice President Jack Warner has, meanwhile, further delayed his extradition.

This isn't new, but I somehow missed this FIFA scandal collector card set created by CNN.

This year's Tour de France has been pretty brutal. Yesterday, yellow-jersey-wearer Tony Martin crashed out. He's the second leader this year to crash out, and we're not even close to half way through.

In important mascot news, the U-17 World Cup's mascot is named Brochico, "a nickname he has had for as long as he can remember, has always been very talented and skilful on the ball, qualities that meant he could hold his own during long afternoons of football – even with older children." The press release goes on to explain how Brochico started his career as a striker and before moving into a more creative midfield role (seriously!).

Tibor Pleiss will join the Utah Jazz. Pleiss is coming off a pretty bad year for Barcelona. Perhaps the Jazz know something we don't.

In the Gold Cup, Mexico crushed Cuba 6-0 and Trinidad beat Guatemala 3-1. The U.S. men's team takes on Haiti later today..

The Ashes are happening right now.

Men's semifinal action in Wimbledon will feature a Federer - Murray showdown. Don't miss it.

If you're in NYC, don't miss the historic U.S. Women's national team in their ticker tape parade. It begins at 11 am (more info can be found here).
