Indoor Soccer Player Scores Amazing Goal on Scissor-Kick Volley

An indoor soccer player scored on a flying scissor-kick volley and reminds us that humans are pretty incredible sometimes.

Is this the best indoor soccer goal ever? I am going to say "yes," with the qualification that this is also somewhere between the second and fourth indoor soccer goal I have ever seen. Still, that doesn't mean it's not amazing. I mean, it's possible that the only work of art you've ever seen is the Mona Lisa, right?

Or maybe determining the best indoor soccer goal is more similar to how Justice Potter Stewart defined obscenity in the 1964 case Jacboellis v. Ohio: you just know it when you see it. Anyway, this is from an amateur indoor soccer tournament held last month in Herrenberg, Germany, and our hero is Dennis Marlovic of SV Bondorf. A freaking scissor-kick volley from the keeper. Incredible.

It's sometimes amazing to see what (some) people are capable of doing. This is the first frame of the video where Marlovic is fully visible and he is completely airborne, ready to strike, and the ball is still a ways away. Which means the ball was even further away when he started his move. The wonders of athleticism, courtesy of German indoor soccer.
