First, the spirited group of fans, apparently anxious to see Chile play Spain and presumably with their tickets stuck in international mail, broke down a barrier and entered the stadium like a pack of wild geese. The group then proceeded to storm through the media center glass doors, obviously.Soccer frequently does strange things to people, particularly during the World Cup.Up next was a ceremonial smashing of a wall that separated these unhinged fans from the locker rooms and field.

Those events were obviously followed by a sit-down protest until the seemingly lethargic security team finally stepped in and led them out like pre-schoolers.Smashed down wall inside media center at Maracana after Chile fans invade pic.twitter.com/smACJiIAAd
