Reasonable Chile Fans Break Down Barrier, Storm Stadium at World Cup

A play-by-play of what appeared to be a giant debacle.

First, the spirited group of fans, apparently anxious to see Chile play Spain and presumably with their tickets stuck in international mail, broke down a barrier and entered the stadium like a pack of wild geese.

The group then proceeded to storm through the media center glass doors, obviously.

Soccer frequently does strange things to people, particularly during the World Cup.

Up next was a ceremonial smashing of a wall that separated these unhinged fans from the locker rooms and field.

Those events were obviously followed by a sit-down protest until the seemingly lethargic security team finally stepped in and led them out like pre-schoolers.
