Good morning, America. It's February 19, 2016. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop every morning for more headlines from around the world.

Yesterday, Manchester United lost in the Europa League 2-1 to a team called FC Midtjylland, which my sources tell me is in Denmark. Anyway, lol. Other teams won and lost, too. Valencia not only won but beat Rapid Wien 6-0!

Also, a Chinese club is rumored to have made an offer to sign Wayne Rooney. You're going to want to sit down for this. The club is going to give United £100,000,000. A hundred. Million. Pounds.

After saying homosexuals were "worse than animals," apologizing, and getting dropped by his sponsor Nike, Manny Pacquiao has doubled down on his comments: "What I am saying is right. I mean I am just stating the truth, what the Bible says."

Sepp Blatter says, "The media moved in to kill me."

ESPN's Outside the Lines has a huge, gross feature on Rio de Janeiro's ongoing water quality problems, and how organizers failed in their pledge to clean up the water before the Olympics start. Olympic swimmers and boaters will be performing in a huge toilet. It's confusing, because it looks so pretty (see below).
