PSV Eindhoven Fans Taunt and Humiliate Beggars in Madrid

Gross, PSV fans.

AS: Travelling PSV fans humiliate beggars in Madrid by throwing coins & cheering as they scramble to pick them. #UCL pic.twitter.com/G6Dy70cbC9

PSV Eindhoven are playing Atletico Madrid today in the second leg of their Champions League matchup, and fans of the Netherlands side were in Madrid acting like a bunch of assholes prior to kickoff. The traveling fans, many decked out in PSV colors, can be seen throwing coins and snapping pictures as beggars scramble to pick up the loose change, all while the PSV fans cheer them on like they were watching their club push forward on a counter.

When they were done taunting the poor, the group of travelers left the square where they were all partying in pretty rough shape, with trash and bottles littered everywhere.

We can always count on sports fans to lower the threshold of acceptable human behavior, but usually they concern themselves with other rival fans. We don't often see a reminder that it can actually get worse.
