Memphis' DJ Stephens is Touching Cumulonimbi With His Ridiculous Vertical

He got so high, he forgot where the floor was supposed to be.

What's the plural of cumulonimbus? Cumulonimbi? Cumulonimbuses? Whatever it is, 6'5" Memphis Grizzlies guard DJ Stephens is touching them, as he made it up to the stratosphere during warmups for the Grizzlies with this dunk.

Stephens was vying for a spot with the team with the D-League Iowa Energy, and was finally elevated (see what I did there?) to Memphis' roster this year—and for good reason. The guy has hops, for sure—actually to the point that he set an NBA record at the 2013 combine, posting a 46-inch running vertical. That's just… goddamn.

Check out what else Stephens has been up to, dunkwise—specifically five days ago against the Magic in preseason:

He got so high, he forgot where the floor was supposed to be. Look at all those Magic players thinking WTF. Here's another look at the dunk from another angle:

This dunk by #Grizzlies DJ Stephens @DdotJAY30 tonight vs. Magic might be best dunk you've ever seen. What adjective describes this? pic.twitter.com/auikubJ03b

Good lord, put it away, son. On second thought, just leave it right where it is. Aaron Gordon has something coming for him.
