Sarah Palin Defends Curt Schilling, Says ESPN Buys Into ISIS Propaganda

But, then, something weird happens and Sarah Palin says something that makes sense.

Earlier this week, Curt Schilling posted the type of vile, borderline-racist muck he has been posting for years. But this time, he posted it to Twitter where people would notice, instead of on Facebook where vile, borderline-racist muck is the bedrock of its content strategy. For this transgression, ESPN removed Schilling from his Little League World Series assignment and this week's Sunday Night Baseball game.

But fear not, Curt, for you have friends in slightly-higher-than-average places to defend you from ESPN's "intolerant PC police." I speak, of course, of none other than Sarah Palin.

Last night, Palin took to Facebook—of course—to defend Schilling, call out ESPN and to chastise, well, anyone else who has yet to realize Nazi Germany is merely ISIS plus time.

"By denying the accuracy of Schilling's tweet, ESPN shows its weakness as it buys into the propaganda of ISIS and other terror organizations, helping mislead the public about the very real threat of terrorism," Palin wrote. "It shows once again that ESPN would rather concentrate on liberal global politics instead of report well on our beloved sports."

Palin, in all of her showboasting glory, closes out her post with a time-honored burn and American symbol of ignorance: "Stick to sports," she tells ESPN. Palin's transformation into internet commenter is complete.
