Trey Lyles Slaps Josh Gasser in Face, No Foul Called

Kentucky got away with an obvious foul when Trey Lyles slapped Josh Gasser in the face.

Trey Lyles wound up and slapped Josh Gasser in the face while battling for rebounding position and knocked Gasser to the ground. Somehow, even after review, the referees did not call a foul. Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, and Grant Hill were discussing whether it would be a Flagrant 1, and they all agreed it would be, and yet…nothing.

It's a weird looking play, for sure. The GIF above is the worst-looking angle for Lyles, because it really looks like he's trying to hit him. From the other angles, though, you could argue it was not intentional and he was just trying to muscle Gasser around. Either way, that's a foul.
